OUR SERVICES
Do we do Invisalign?
Of course!
We use a variety of techniques to move teeth, including Invisalign. Keep in mind that Invisalign is a brand name, so you may hear us refer to them simply as aligners.
We will evaluate your teeth and review the different benefits between treatment types.
Aligners are comfortable, esthetic, and allow for easy brushing and flossing of teeth!
We use our scanner to take virtual molds of your teeth so we can make your clear aligners. It's fast, comfortable, and amazing.
Lingual Braces
Lingual or tongue-side braces on the top teeth are a very popular option. Most people have no idea that you are even in braces!
We also use our SureSmile technology with lingual braces. This allows for predictable, fast, and comfortable movement.
You can read more about what SureSmile is here.
Let us help determine if lingual braces is a good option for you!
Interested in lingual (tongue-sided) braces?
Be sure to ask us about lingual braces at your first visit!
Whitening & Esthetics
Interested in whitening your teeth? We make custom bleaching trays so you can whiten your teeth in the comfort of your own home with professional results.
We also provide other esthetic options as needed with your orthodontic treatment, such as gingivectomies, soft-tissue contouring, and simple exposures.
It's usually best to whiten your teeth after orthodontic treatment and not during treatment.
Clear & Metal Braces
In addition to clear aligners and lingual braces, we also offer clear (self-ligating) and metal braces.
These braces use small ligatures (o-rings) that go around the bracket to attach the wire. These ligatures come in many colors. At each appointment, you can change and customize the colors you want!
The clear brackets are a great option for adults and children where we recommend traditional braces over aligners or lingual braces.
You can add colors to both metal and clear braces.
It's a great way to add some excitement and fun to your smile!
Surgical Orthodontics
For certain cases, we may recommend that orthodontics be combined with corrective jaw surgery (also called orthognathic surgery).
We use our advanced technology to predict the surgical movements on simulated computer models to achieve excellent results. We have over 30 years of experience with surgical cases and work with private and managed care surgeons (like Kaiser Permanente).
If we do recommend surgery, we will review the options for treatment and help guide you through the process.
With our advanced computer models and years of experience, we are able to achieve excellent surgical results.
Retainers
Retainers are an important part of orthodontic treatment. They help prevent from moving after orthodontics by holding, or retaining, the teeth where they have been moved.
We provide a variety of retainer options depending on each patient's needs.
We may recommend clear retainers, traditional retainers (hawleys), or fixed retainers (glued to the backside of your teeth).
